LITTLE PRAIRIE
NAMPA, Oct 4-Extending greetings and a hearty welcome to Sgt. Estelle Williams, returning from overseas with the Edmonton regiment. “Bill” joined the forces in June, 1941, taking part in the Normandy invasion, later in Germany until V-E day. It will be great to see you again and thanks from all for your share in the big scrap.
Little Sandra Lee Tuson’s picture appeared in the beautiful children feature of the Edmonton Journal, September 29. Sandy is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Craig and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tuson, 11935-96th Street Edmonton. She is nearly three years old and will son have been with her grand parents here two years. She is deserving of this honor for she is a cunning and winsome child.
We are sorry to be losing Miss Charles, Peace River, as our church organist. She now has employment at Fort Vermilion. The church would be greatful [sic.] to anyone who plays to help us out at church services as organist.
Most of the threshing is being cleared up but our fingers are crossed until all folks are through.
